The new siteGO app, developed by fieldGO for civil contracting specialists, engineered significant interest at the recent Civil Contractors New Zealand Conference.
An annual industry event, the Civil Contractors New Zealand Conference this month was packed with delegates, trade displays and inspirational speakers. The programme focused on a number of critical industry issues, and showcased the latest innovations, technologies and products.
The fieldGO display, situated in the trade area, was inundated with contractors interested in the new siteGO app.
Leading discussions were around how civil contracting businesses can effectively use technology to better engage field staff and how to utilise technology to improve processes, freeing up staff in the field to carry out more important tasks.
The new siteGO app met both these requirements. It allows staff to manage multiple work sites across geographically diverse locations. And, it can improve crew performance with streamlined practices, automation of repetitive tasks and real-time communication between head-office and on-site personnel – all from one mobile platform.
Health and Safety data capture and reporting was also a hot topic. The app’s pre-configured but flexible templates help staff to ensure health and safety compliance and allow managers to track and control multiple jobs, as they happen.
“The engagement we got with contractors at this event was very encouraging,” says CEO Kerry Connors.
“We’re confident we’re on the right track with this latest enterprise mobility solution, from fieldGO. There’s obviously a healthy market need for this kind of technology. And not just for civil contracting specialists, this technology can potentially transform any business where a significant amount of their personnel work in the field.”
